Great concept and a good start, although I'd work to get rid of more of the clone-stamped feel of the actual blades of grass. Ideally this would be a swath of completely unique grass (i.e., no cloning used, only masking) since it aims at photorealism; maybe it's not too noticeable to others, but for a graphic designer (+3d animator) like me, it's very noticeable and unfortunately detracts from the overall realistic effect you're emulating. But again, great start
